Fan-Pledge and Saturday Show Day!
Fan-Pledge Fundraiser
This week, we kicked off our Fan-Pledge Fundraiser. This is a huge opportunity for our program, and can help you as well! Our friends down the road at Tetzlaff just did this fundraiser, and brought in $37,000!
Your students registered for an account. They have been working on entering contacts this week. The goal is for every student to have 20 contacts.
Some people you could add:
Grandparents
Aunts and uncles
Neighbors
Friends from church
Family friends
Old college roommates
The doctor that has seen your child since they were born
The friends you would invite to your annual Christmas party
The goal is not to only put people who are a guaranteed donation, but to ask people who care about your kid and the things they care about and see what happens.
On Thursday, we will be reaching out to all of the contacts to try to raise money.

We will be starting the rehearsal with our Fan-Pledge Fundraiser. ALL students MUST be in the band room at 5. We will then move out to the field.
If you are planning on helping us move equipment on Saturday at the show, please arrive at 7:45 to get ready to practice with us!

Hawaii- Deadline 10/1!
We are going to Hawaii this Spring Break! If you missed the meeting, you can find it linked below. It isn’t too late to register, but we need you to do it ASAP so we know who to expect on the trip. The deadline to register is October 1!

Grab a Flip Folder!
At the last football game, I noticed that many students don’t have flip folders right now! Flip folders hold all of our pep songs, school songs, etc. that we use at assemblies, rallies, and football games. I found a budget one on Amazon for only $10. Please invest in one. It will last you your entire high school carrer.
You may also need to buy a lyre for your specific instrument. The lyre holds the flip folder on your instrument. Most local music stores should have them, or you can search for them on Amazon. I also saw some bulk packs for cheap if you want to go in with some friends on a pack of lyres.

Rations for the Regiment
We are launching a new fundraiser right now. We are calling it Rations for the Regiment, and we are trying to raise money to provide food for the kids throughout the fall season.
Student Expectations
As we move further into the season, preparation and consistency become increasingly important.
Come prepared. Students should have their instrument, music, equipment, water, and appropriate rehearsal clothing every day.
Be present and engaged. Learning drill requires everyone to be in the right place at the right time. When someone is missing, it affects more than just that student.
Take care of yourself. Especially on our Saturday rehearsals, students need to stay hydrated, eat enough, get enough sleep, and come prepared for a full day outside.
Stay on top of schoolwork. Marching band is a significant commitment, but students are still responsible for their classes. Please make sure students are communicating with teachers and keeping up with their work.
Athletic Clearance — Please Take Care of This Now
All students participating in the music program need a new Athletic Clearance on file with the school for the 2026–27 school year.
If your student has not completed this yet, please start the process now. The school may take up to 5 school days to process a complete clearance, so this is not something to wait on.
Full Athletic Clearance Instructions
The basics:
Clearance is completed online through HomeCampus.com.
A new clearance and physical are required each school year.
Physicals for 2026–27 must be dated on or after April 1, 2026.
You will need to upload the physician-signed/stamped physical and medical history questionnaire.
The clearance is not complete until it has been reviewed and approved by the school.
There is also a mandatory annual transportation fee:
$175 — includes ASB card
$225 — transportation only

2026–27 ROG Registration Paperwork

Getting these completed early helps us keep student information, emergency contacts, uniforms, and volunteer coordination organized throughout the season.
New: Rehearsal Absence Form
We are introducing a new absence reporting process this year.
Any time a student is going to miss a rehearsal, they need to complete the absence form. Students should submit the form as soon as they know they are going to miss something, rather than waiting until the day of rehearsal whenever possible.
