🪚 Weekend Work
While students were busy with their first Saturday rehearsal, our amazing Boosters and volunteers were hard at work on a big cleanup project! They tackled old show props, cleaned out storage areas, and got things much more organized. 💪
It was definitely hot and humid, but everyone pushed through and got so much done.
Huge thanks to all the families and volunteers who showed up and helped out—we couldn’t do it without you! 🙌👏
Clean up and prop preparation, Part 2
During the next Saturday practice (September 6), our goal is to finish stripping and breaking down old props, and preparation for building more props, and help hang more items in the bandroom. We could use all the parent hands we can get. Just show up ready to work. If you have gloves, tools, etc., feel free to bring them. You can reach out to our VP of Operations May Anderson at vp.operations@cerritosrog.com
🚗 Fall Carwash Volunteers & Donations Needed
We will be doing a car wash on September 13. This is a huge fundraiser for us, and its going to require all hands on deck. Be on the lookout for more details!
Soap, buckets, sponges, drying cloths, and hoses can be dropped off in the band room through September 5th.

🏃♂️ Athletic Clearance
All band and auxiliary students must complete Athletic Clearance before participating this school year.
THIS MUST BE DONE IMMEDIATELY! IT WAS ALREADY DUE!
✅ General Info

Required yearly for all student participants
Physicals must be dated April 1, 2025, or later
Allow up to 5 school days for processing
💲 Transportation Fee
Option A: $150 (includes ASB card)- Do this! You save money and get more for it!
Option B: $200 (transportation only)
Pay after being accepted into a team/unit at the ASB Office (cash or check)
📝 Clearance Process
Visit HomeCampus.com → Choose California
Login or create an account
Start a new clearance for “Cerritos” and the correct year/sport
Upload:
Physical form (signed, stamped, dated)
Medical history questionnaire
Optional: Student Vehicle Use form (if student will drive)
You’ll receive a confirmation email once submitted
Coaches will be updated once clearance is approved
📄 Physicals
Must be signed, dated, and stamped by a physician
Accepted from April 1, 2025 onward or within one year of completion
Kaiser forms are accepted if paired with our questionnaire
🏥 Insurance
All students must have health insurance
