We’ve got a big couple of weeks ahead! Please take note of the following important events and announcements:
Booster Meeting, Spring Concert, and Band Banquet this week!
Added concert next week with our friends at Tetzlaff Middle School.
Mandatory Parent Info Meeting for all new and returning families next Thursday.
Athletic Clearance must be completed before summer – on-site opportunity available May 21 (details below).
Fireworks Fundraiser has launched – start selling vouchers now to get ahead on your donation!

🎤 Added Concert with Tetzlaff MS
Since Tetzlaff MS couldn't attend Area Night, we’re heading their way for a joint concert!
📍 Tuesday, May 20 at 6:15pm at Tetzlaff MS.
More details on call time, dress code, and logistics will be shared soon.
👨👩👧👦 Parent Info Meeting – May 22
Our mandatory Parent Info Meeting will be held:

An adult representative from every household must attend. We'll cover:
Summer camp schedules
New program procedures
Volunteer opportunities
Financial expectations
This is your chance to get fully prepared for the new school year!

Mark your calendars! Summer camps are essential for building the foundation for next season.
Mini-Camps
June:
• June 2–3, 9–10
• Guard: also June 4 & 11
July:
• July 7–10, 14–15
Band Camp
• July 28 – August 1
• August 4 – August 8
These sessions will cover marching technique, warm-ups, music, and procedures. Attendance is vital!
🏃♂️ Athletic Clearance
All band and auxiliary students must complete Athletic Clearance before participating next school year.

Required yearly for all student participants
Physicals must be dated April 1, 2025, or later
Allow up to 5 school days for processing
💲 Transportation Fee
Option A: $150 (includes ASB card)
Option B: $200 (transportation only)
Pay after being accepted into a team/unit at the ASB Office (cash or check)
📝 Clearance Process
Visit HomeCampus.com → Choose California
Login or create an account
Start a new clearance for “Cerritos” and the correct year/sport
Upload:
Physical form (signed, stamped, dated)
Medical history questionnaire
Optional: Student Vehicle Use form (if student will drive)
You’ll receive a confirmation email once submitted
Coaches will be updated once clearance is approved
📄 Physicals
Must be signed, dated, and stamped by a physician
Accepted from April 1, 2025 onward or within one year of completion
Kaiser forms are accepted if paired with our questionnaire
🏥 Insurance
All students must have health insurance

🎆 Fireworks Fundraiser – Start Selling!
It’s time! Our biggest fundraiser of the year has launched.
Start selling fireworks vouchers today! You can do so by clicking this link. Make sure to include your student name in the section that says “Program Designation.”
A portion of all sales directly offsets your program donation
This is an easy way to lower your out-of-pocket costs early
